«Minutes Complètement Cirque»

The Montréal Complètement Cirque festival was launched during the summer of 2010. With only indoor shows scattered across the city and taking place at the same time as 2 other major festivals, Montreal Complètement Cirque faced a huge awareness challenge.

To express the idea of 'minutes of complete circus' we created 'pop up' circus acts that instantly sprang out of nowhere and turned rooftops, sidewalks and popular public places into their stage. Fifty contortionists, acrobats, jugglers and clowns instantly transformed the city into a circus for 5 minute shows that took place more than 20 times over 1 week, generating awareness for the festival on the prime time evening news.
